New to Storage? Here’s What to Expect at Legal Self Storage
If you’ve never rented a storage unit before, the process can seem a bit confusing. What size do you need? How do you get access? Do you need your own lock?
At Legal Self Storage, we’ve made things straightforward—no hidden fees, no long-term contracts, and no pressure. Just secure, affordable storage for locals from St. Albert, Morinville, Fort McMurray, and everywhere in between.
Step 1: Decide What You Need to Store
We offer:
Drive-up self-storage units for furniture, seasonal gear, household items, and more
Outdoor RV and boat parking on gravel stalls for everything from trailers to fishing boats
If you’re not sure what size fits, just reach out—we’ll help you choose the right option.
Step 2: Book Online or By Phone
There’s no on-site office, so all rentals are handled online or by phone. You’ll get quick instructions, a gate code, and everything you need to move in—often the same day.
We keep things simple so you can handle everything from home.
Step 3: Access When You Need It
Our facility is open daily from 6:30 AM to 11 PM. You can come and go during those hours using your personalized keypad code. The site has cameras and lighting for added peace of mind.
And since all storage units are drive-up, you won’t need to haul items upstairs or through hallways.
What Else Should You Know?
All rentals are month-to-month
There’s no long-term commitment required
A 30-day notice is needed before you move out
You provide your own lock for your unit—we’ll guide you on what works best
If you’re ready to make space at home, simplify your move, or store your RV/boat between adventures, we’re here when you need us.
